Clouds Clouds Clouds — Maggie Madole

I spent all day yesterday drawing clouds. I’m hooked. These are all graphite on paper, 8x8 inches.

The next three I drew while a storm was rolling in right on top of me. I didn’t realize what was happening until my drawing buddy looked up and said, “uhhhh…we gotta go!” We didn’t move quickly enough and we got soaked. I have never experienced anything like it, after just 30 seconds of rain we both looked like we’d jumped into a lake. Luckily I’d thought ahead and brought a ziploc for my drawings!
